Yea I have a planned career to use my business acumen to allow me to pursue my interest in music and sell my tunes as well as score games if I can.

I do believe that ADHD is a fictitious disease, and I believe it has been. Hear me out:

Children have not developed this disease—society has simply changed. 40-50 years ago, life simply was not interesting. It was easy to go into a classroom and pay attention to a boring lecture because there was little else to do. Sure, kids managed to have fun, but it’s all a matter of relativity: it was easier to delight in simpler things, so a simple education (and business) structure complemented this.

Technology advanced. Now we are bombarded by advertisements, color, and high technology—and it’s actually mostly been beneficial. But education hasn’t kept up (nor has the business model). So, suddenly, it’s YOUR fault or you’re diseased if you can’t stick with the old methods when these new exciting ones are present.

You tell a kid to sit in a class for a boring lecture, and what would he or she rather be doing? Texting friends, watching TV, playing a visceral action game. Decades ago there were distractions but they were either a lot more committing, less convenient, or arguably less interesting.

ADHD is making a disease out of advancing with society and not adhering to an old model. That’s why it’s fictitious.

Years from now, after the Brony fandom dies out, and historians try to evaluate the most important contributions that this fandom has made to the world. What will it be?

Is it all the charity work they have done?

Funded a documentary that sucks and keeps asking for money?

Has had drama at every single convention?

Has been inclusive to all types of people including rapists, racists, sexists, and homophobes?

Or the time the entire fandom got upset over losing a cartoon horse?

No, those pale in comparison to this. The only fandom thus far to try to capitalize off of horse porn based on a children’s show, and be successful while doing it.

This is what they (the Bronies) will be remembered for, and it will go down as the most earth-shattering contribution that no one wanted.

There is literally porn of dozens of children’s cartoons, but no one ever seems to have a problem with it — until it’s about MLP. Suddenly, it’s the most heinous crime in the history of man.

Big surprise that, once again, the MLP fandom takes flak for the same exact shit the rest of the world has been doing for decades.

There is literally porn of all cartoons yes. Don’t remember there being a porn book selling for $46k of Dora the Explorer. (considering how much of a waste of money that is when you can just…print it out at home) That’s the point of the post.

MeltyMod: Maybe hazama has been under a rock this entire time because he failed to notice that people have been calling out cartoon porn for years. To this day Sonic porn is banned from furaffinity (supposedly??) and people are STILL attempting to get R^2 fired because he keeps bending the rules to allow fuckwits from furaffinity and other shitty websites to post their porn on dA for $$$$.

Even if another cartoon fandom did make bank on a shitty porn book, it would still be just as gross as bronies doing it (SURPRISE!?!). Bronies get special mentions because they’ve reached furry fandom levels of horrible in an extremely short amount of time and TBH I haven’t heard of another fandom doing this.
I kinda wish he was trolling since he attempts to call out others cherry picking yet he cherry picked one complaint for his entire argument, but I’m 100% sure he’s serious and IMO that’s worse than defending a shitty MLP porn book.

I don’t keep track of Furaffinity or DeviantArt, so I wasn’t aware of anything going on there. (I have heard, in passing, of corrupt DA admins, though.) If that’s what’s happening, then I retract my point about nobody caring about other cartoons.

What other arguments were there to exclude in my alleged cherry-picking? I thought this was one argument about pony porn. I’m serious; I don’t want to be a faulty debater.

This entire reblog chain is funny in its pointlessness. Also it seems that the OP and others don’t understand why we support this project. Btw, $35 supporter here, might bump it up to 95 for that stretch goal.

I’m supporting this project because I love all the artists involved. Not all of these artists are accepting commissions, and there’s probably nothing i’d want to commission them for anyways. So projects like these are a great way to support those artists and their work.

And with the average contribution being $58.91 per person, no one person is paying “thousands” for this project. Unlike what was reported for some copies of the original “Hoof Beat” comic.

It’s not wrong to support this project, it’s not a horrible thing. Quite the opposite. This is a project started by a great artist, working with other great artists, on a project for adults who enjoy adult material and wish to support their favorite artists..

Compare these results to Onta’s recent “Hardblush: Boystown” project, a a compilation of gay, furry, porn comics. (Which I also contributed to)

While the numbers are only about half for Boystown, guess what the average contribution was… $58.60 per person.

It’s the EXACT SAME THING, and people are paying the exact same prices on average. But only bronies are getting thrown under the bus for it.

If you don’t like it, don’t support the project and don’t go around shaming those that do. It’s none of your goddamn business to judge.

However, if you do like the project and want to support it, be my guest and enjoy it with me.
