Cyril’s Silly Show is going on hiatus
Though there are a few ends I need to tie up especially for you guys. I’ll also have a present for ya before I go.
I just wanna let you Tumblr fans who have been coming out know that I love you all for dealing with my weekly blogging about it and for coming out even when it’s a weird time and just enjoying the show for what it was.
It was never the best produced, the best organized or even the best show around but it was Silly and it was fun….
However, because of my current real-life situation and the fact that my music is starting to take an ever greater priority, I need to put the Silly Show on hold for a little while. I enjoyed every minute of the Silly Show experience (other than getting kicked off of Arecibo… that kinda sucked) and I still enjoy it now BUT:
I don’t feel like I’m doing you guys justice with what I’ve been doing lately. My core co-hosts have fallen away and it could recover with some TLC from me… I just don’t have the time to give the TLC to make that happen…
It’s also just ONE MORE THING that I need to do, and while I don’t mind music being my job becuase that’s well… that’s my end goal, the podcast was always supposed to be something just fun on the side. Right now it feels ever more like work, I am so behind on everything and I don’t have the necessary time to dedicate to it.
I have this weird problem where, if I get behind, I lose all motivation. I can’t seem to pick which thing I want to work on next and things always way in my mind.
Especially when I have people who actually want to hear what I do.
God this is weird.
THE SILLY SHOW WILL RETURN.
I just don’t know when or what it will look like when it comes back… but it will. Thanks for sticking with me for like a year, or in some cases, a year and a half. You all rock, I’ll miss you all. Hopefully you’ll still dig my music for a while and return to the show when it returns.
